June 2011-present | NoizeMaschin!! concert series

Director and Organiser, June 2011-August 2014 | Perth, Australia
Director and Organiser
, November 2015-present | London, UK

NoizeMaschin!! is a monthly new music concert series in Perth, Australia and London, UK. The series utilises a unique format, eight artists enter the space and perform short 10 minute sets across two halves, segueing seamlessly from artist to artist, creating a continuous musical experience. While we provide an outlet for noise artists, NoizeMaschin!! is much more than just a noise gig. In fact, we aim for as diverse a program as possible. Electronic, acoustic, improv, fixed media, sound art, leftfield pop, rock or IDM… we don’t care what genre or style a performer associates with. NoizeMaschin!! provides a space that encourages the artist to explore the negative space of noise within their own musical preferences. Since November 2016, NoizeMaschin!! London has implemented a 50:50 gender split in our programming, which has further broadened the scope of our concert programs, offering greater diversity of practice and a more inclusive community space.

As the founder of NoizeMaschin!!, and primary director and organiser of events in both iterations of the series, I have been primarily responsible for all aspects of the organisation, from curation to promotion to artist engagement. During this time I have worked with a number of others to realise this program, effectively managing small teams of individuals and working collaboratively with employees form other organisations and interests to produce high quality concert experiences.
