"People are afraid to merge on the highway" now available on New Weird Australia's release 'Western Schism'

My work "People Are Afraid To Merge On The Highway" has been featured on New Weird Australia's latest regional compilation release "Western Schism" as a free download! The record also features some amazing recordings from a whos who of WA music, including Salamander, Leaving, Fur Chick, Chris Cobilis, Craig McElhinney, Brown, The Gulls and a whole bunch more. If you are unsure if the bandwidth is worth it, check out The Thousands review here by Danielle Marsland, in which I get a nice shout out: "Sam Gillies' ‘People Are Afraid to Merge on the Highway’ (whilst less delicate than his Cycle~ 440 work) is astonishing – a creeping, thudding swirl of clanky keys, clarinet, double bass; with a subtle but unnerving vocal narrative."
